Kids in the Garden

This weekend the boys and I visited the garden and cleaned up the rest of the potatoes, picked the last few strawberries, tried out som blackberries (black but still bitter because it's not time yet), and harvested the rest of the plums.

They spent a while climbing in the plum tree with a little friend.

What is it about kids and trees?

Give them a tree and some fruit or a packet of chips and they're happier than can be.

Speaking of trees, a while ago I wrote about the Enid Blyton Enchanted Wood and Faraway Tree books.

Today I got a comment on my blog leading back to the most awesome Faraway Tree website. Go have a look for yourself.

I think climbing trees is still so much fun... I'm jealous of my children!

Climbing trees is fun. I climb the trees in the park with my kids sometimes... and eating a snack **in** a tree is the BEST!! ;)

That's right, it's summer! I've been inside working so much I'd forgotten. Glad they're enjoying themselves.
