Dutch Word of the Day

I've been reading Dutch Word of the Day for a while now and I thought I should share it with you.

Given in a wonderfully clear, yet relevant style, Dutch Word of the Day discusses what we need to learn right now to be able to succeed in speaking accurate, yet colloquially current Dutch.

Light years away from stuffy textbooks and the best part, the part I love about blogging, is that there are real people on the other side! Not some professor who is writing from the comfort of academia, but real live people just like you and I!

Sander and Marc are the resident Dutch Gurus who've taken up the very worthy task of creating an archive of definitions in English, for Dutch words, with examples and applications (even for the rude words).

Yay for Sander and Marc! They deserve a web award!

what a cute picture! I love the thoughtful looking cow :) Thanks for the link, being a language nut, I love that sort of thing. I'm still hopeless with Dutch because I have trouble getting a feel for the pronunciation, but maybe this site will help!

I am the youngest of four and so my mother, Wiesje, did not teach me as well as the other three - i am picking the language back up to step fuirther in my business. Thank you so much for the simple definitions, it is a great help!
Tot ziens.
