My Dutch Garden

Today we were at the garden. We planted 100 onions (Sturon), one head of garlic (Prinator), 100 shallots (Red Sun), 18 dwarf beans, (Borlotto and Contender), and one rhubarb plant.
Yesterday we planted 12 each of Kelvedon and First Early May peas, and 12 strawberry plants.
The carrots that I planted two weeks ago have done absolutely nothing, even under thermal fleece, so I'm going to buy more seed and try again.
The blackberries are budding, the plum tree is blossoming, and I found out we have an extra bit to our garden containing black and redcurrant bushes.
Tomorrow I will continue digging, plant some flowers and cover the beds with mulch. 16C forecast for tomorrow! Spring is here!
I wanted to keep all my garden stuff in one place, so in order to do so, I've made another blog. Pretty much everything there is copied from here and I'll probably continue to double post.
I just think it'll be nice to have everything in one place, and next year I'll be able to read back on what I did every month with ease, instead of searching through millions of posts about other things!

Okay, just how big IS this garden you've got???
How come all in yr garden is flowering and budding and "" knows what flora is supposed to do?
As opposed to my lonely appletree. It's just standing there, luckily there is still a card attached to it shouting: hey, I'm an appletree!

Ah, I see you also had some good weather today! I like your new blog. I think it's great to have everything in one place.
I wish I were green-fingered and could grow stuff. My talents rise to herb pots and pruning the odd rose, and not much more.
