Fruit and Veg received in Vitatas
Vitatas Extra & Fruit

For about four months now I've had a subscription to Vitatas for a weekly organic vegetable and fruit bag. I can change out what I want from week to week depending on our family needs. Most weeks I get a 'family' bag and a 'fruit' bag. This week I had an 'extra' and a 'fruit'. The 'extra' bag was because someone had mistakenly taken off with my 'family' bag and so I got one of higher value instead. I wasn't complaining.

Prices range from Euro 6.50 for the single or couple's bag to Euro 11.25 for the extra. The fruit bag costs Euro 6.50. There are are quite a few different choices.

This is what I got this week:

Vegetable bag - parsley, pak soi, rauwkost (grated carrot, cabbage, peppers etc in a bag), savoy cabbage, Batavia lettuce, carrots, beetroot, cherry tomatoes, red onions
Fruit bag - apples, oranges, pears and kiwis

Kelli has a new post up showing what her friend bought with coupons for $16. I think I'll stick with my vegetables and fruit for 15 euros.

Note, I could get this all a fair amount cheaper if I bought non-organic produce, but this way I am sustaining organic farming in Holland and giving my children the best vegetables and fruit money can buy.

Ash, so if you got all this for $15 Euro, is that about $20? That is wonderful! And organic! WOW!
