Sheep, Pig and Cow; Feestje and Cupcake

It's Joe's 'feestje' at school today. The last birthday that he will celebrate at the peuterschool (preschool) before he turns 4 in the holidays and goes to big school.
We have garish peach and orange iced cupcakes to munch during the festivities and an entire farmyard of these litlte animals, which artfully conceal a box of Smarties inside their bodies.
Drawing the eyes on these animals was the best part. I valiantly resisted making some of them cross-eyed, but it was difficult!
The sheep has the most astonished look on his face. The cow looks like she's going 'wtf?', probably as a result of the fact that she is listing badly to one side. And the pig looks like she is really bemused by that ribbon on her head.
They look a bit like I feel actually -who would have thought Joe would be almost 4 already?
The sheep worries me. I've been around enough barnyard animals to know that when one sticks its tail up, it's best to move farther away. That's why the COW has that look on its face. ;)
