This is how we celebrate Father's Day here ...

We get the kids to say tongue-twisters and then we video them to embarrass them later when they are fathers themselves :)

If you're using a feed reader you'll need to click through to see the video link and you need the sound turned up for this one :)

The kids made their dad some cute Father's Day gifts, all World Cup themed. Click for the front, and the back.

This morning I made banana bread, marinaded some meat for tonight's barbecue and made burgers to cook on our new electric barbecue.

I love cooking over coals, but I hate the smoke being in my face and blowing into the apartment from the balcony. The electric one means we can grill things outside 'barbecue-style' more often. Plus, it'll be handy to take on vacation as a lot of camp sites in the drier parts of Europe don't allow you to barbecue over coals.

The last day of the Avondvierdaagse was on Friday and it was wonderful! The whole festival atmosphere was amazing, but we finished off very late and now Brad's not feeling well.

He has a cold. I think its a reaction to the week of DIY we have planned ahead of us ;)
