It's not epilepsy

Thank goodness, thank goodness, thank goodness!
I spoke to the neurologist intern and he said the EEG came back normal. So its something else, and they can't say what, but its not epilepsy. He said it might just be fatigue, or low blood pressure or low blood sugar, but its not epilepsy.
We have an appointment on 2 August with the Professor and he'll explain more about the other possibilities when we see him. I'm so glad that's it not what they thought!
It's the last day of the Avondvierdaagse today. DIY planned for next week so Brad is at home. Parties (2 x) for Seb for next week. New bathroom coming at the end of the week - yay! The tomato plants are flowering, its gong to be warm again on Sunday so we can barbecue.
I have almost finished my Friendship Exchange for Renee, and although I'm not 100% happy with the finishing I think she will like it anyway! A few hints - its cute, its in the colours she likes and William Morris* would like it.
Life is good.
* Reference to a famous William Morris quote.

hi, glad to hear seb's not got epilepsy! good luck getting it sorted out though, can't imagine what i would do if bea was having random seizures :( i drop by your blog every so often - don't get the chance to irc at all really any more. bea's just started walking and got her first pair of proper shoes today which she is very proud of :) say hi to brad for me.
That is absolutely terrific news. I can imagine the relief.
Oh Ash! I'm so glad for you!!!
That's great! Good luck for your appoitnment. Thanks for commenting on my blog too - changing cultures isn't easy, but the memory of the hardships diminshed over time and the life affirming lessons remain :-) Hindsight is indeed wonderful!
What good news!
Whew, I'm glad to hear this (though not as glad as you were, no doubt!). I hope that your upcoming appointment will shed some more light on the issue and that things will be back to normal soon (whatever "normal" is with young kids!).
I am very glad for your family that you've gotten this news! :) Will be keeping you all in my thoughts and hope for a diagnosis to come soon. I would imagine that it would be so much easier to plan for the day or the week or just anything, knowing for certain what you all are facing instead of being in-the-dark.

Oh Ash! What wonderful news! I can't imagine the relief you and your family are feeling over finding this out. Hugs!!!!
