Sampler Rabbit Exchange Received and Easter Flowers

Isn't this adorable? Yesterday I received this beautiful needlebook and fob (which has a coin inside it for weight). The back is stitched with our initials and the year 2006. The inside has felt pages for needles and its tied with the cutest cream coloured ribbon.
I also received a wonderful Whitman's Sampler 1930's tin of chocolates, plus the chart from Fancy Work for the pincushion to go inside! My partner was very generous and creative! Thanks Gwen!
These are our Easter flowers. Its traditional in Holland to decorate branches in blossom with easter eggs and I went a bit further and put the lilies in with the branches and decorated the whole thing with felt flowers and decorated eggs. I had planned to have only the flowers, branches and a few eggs for a minimalist look, but then the kids got involved and the whole thing ended up being a bit more decorated than I would have wished ;)
The other problem is that cat wants to play with them all the time so she has to be in another room if the flowers are on the table! What a pain! The introduction of weird plant matter seems to have driven her into some kind of alternate reality because she is really bitey and intensely naughty too. Wait til the Easter Egg Hunting takes place!

Your exchange from Gwen looks wonderful. Enjoy your goodies!
I love the flowers. I think your DS's have done a magnificent job.:)
Your arrangement is very pretty. I love the eggs. We don't decorate for Easter in Australia other than bunnies - maybe because it is Autumn and not Spring?
Ashleigh - your Easter tree is beautiful! You also received two lovely exhange pieces - the needlebook and scissors fob.
Happy Easter!
Love the exchange gift, and your 'paastakken' arrangement is lovely. Our kitty is also naughty at the moment - I think he's got spring fever.
What a cute exchange piece! Love the Easter decorations too.
Beautiful exchange pieces you received - no wonder you're so happy! :D Great job that Gwen did :D Love the Easter egg display too :)
Hi Ashleigh,
I am glad that you like your exchange gift. I usually include a card but I was in a hurry to get to the post office.
Your decorations are lovely.
See you on Legacy.
Gwen
i simply love your vase of lilies and felt eggs!
Love your Easter bouquet!
You should be a photo stylist--you know the people who create sets for commercial photographers, retailers, and publishers. You really have a wonderful eye and great creativity.
I think it looks beautiful Ashleigh. I only had one decoration out this year, on the mantlepiece, I completely forgot all about the rest of them.

Ashleigh,
The exchange is lovely and your pictures are always so clear. Your Easter egg decoration is sweet ~ when I was growing up we hung Easter eggs from a tree outside and I loved it. We might still hang some eggs in the bushes here at the condo community if they don't take them down first!
