Prairie Schooler Spring!

Spring has sprung in Holland, finally! And at the same time my SBEBB Spring Exchange arrived at its destination.
I was partnered with Paula and had originally chosen a different design for her. When I came across the Prairie Schooler 'Spring' freebie I just had to stitch it. It seemed to embody Spring for me!
I wonder how many more are going to turn up in this exchange, especially after I saw that Andrea also fell for its charms!
Have a look at her rendition of the design here. I love the little bag she made.
And the details about my sachet?
It is stitched on Light Tan 32 ct linen using DMC and finished as a potpourri/lavender sachet with a ribbon loop and wooden flower buttons from Paris on the corners. I love those buttons! I used a striped patchwork fabric for the back of the sachet.
Today I have Sebastian at home with an eye infection so I've cancelled my acupuncture appointment this morning and we'll be trying to have a slow day.

Great finish Ash. The buttons are unusual. It will be interesting how many ways people will finish this design, I'm sure there are more out there!
Sorry to hear about DS, hope the infection clears up soon. :)
It's lovely Ash. I know of at least one more of this design and the recipient should receive it any day now :)
What a lovely sachet, and the buttons are so cute. Your other little spring pieces are lovely too,

How's Joe's eye infection?
What a lovely collection, Ash!
Hi Ash, I am sure enjoying seeing how everyone has finished this cute design! I have it stitched - just couldn't resist - but haven't finished it off yet.
I actually saw your post a few days ago, but only just finding the time to sit in front of the PC long enough to comment ... just wanted to say I think you exchange piece is gorgeous - love the finishing of it with the little buttons - very cute! :D

The wooden buttons are darling ~ I've never seen those before. They are ideal on this design. Sorry to hear about the eye infection ~ hope he gets a cozy get-well day!
