Blackbird Designs Sunflower Charms
Sunflower Charms, A Loose Feather from Blackbird Designs (c)

Yippee! Another finish for me. This is another one of the Blackbird Designs Loose Feathers designs (No 15) from 2005. I am so glad I signed up for this program. This pattern was stitched on 30 ct Korty's Special Blend by R&R Reproductions using Weeks Dye Works Whiskey, Pecan and Loden with Gentle Art Sampler Threads' Sarsaparilla.

Looking through my list of patterns and comparing to the back of the chart, I have all of the Loose Feathers publications except for Spring's Promise and Evening Shades the Garden. I stitched the Pumpkin Blossom Needlecase but followed the finishing instructions and made a boo-boo so scrapped that!

I completed Spring Fling a few weeks ago and I recently stitched and traded the pattern for Garland Fair. My next Blackbird will probably be Autumn Silhouette. I seem to be on a roll with these :)

In related news, I hear via the Legacy Board directly from Alma of Blackbird Designs that their latest design 'Strawberry Garden' is already out of print and is not being reprinted! Wow! Am I happy that I'm on automatic for this or what??

I'm going to be busy with exchange projects this week. I have my partner name for the 'SBEBB Biscornu Exchange' and I have an idea of exactly what she likes so I've picked my pattern and I'm getting ready to start it. I posted off a couple of exchanges last week Thursday so as soon as they reach their destinations I can share.

The clock going forward did nothing for my lack of sleep and now I have two grumpy kids who didn't want to wake up this morning! I did stitch until very late last night though, so I can only blame myself for my tiredness!
