Bathrobes and bedpans

I'm home. I had the laparoscopic op so just four tiny cuts on my stomach. It hurts quite a lot but nothing that some painkillers can't deal with. I had five litres of fluids intravenously! I must have been terribly dehydrated.

I'll update more when I'm less wobbly.

Ash, I'm so glad you're home and actually well enough to get behind the computer for a moment! You take care, and keep us posted when you're up to it.

Hi Ashleigh, glad to see you are back home and back online! I had an ovarian cyst removed by laparascopy a few years ago, and I was quite surprised how quickly I was up and about again, although I was warned not to do anything that stretched my belly area for six weeks. Wasn't allowed to drive either. How long will it be before you are in the kitchen again??!! I didn't bother posting my weekly menu last week, as I knew you weren't around to see it, but it wasn't anything flash anyway...boring plain food in fact!
