Green & Blacks & Chocolate Chips

I was given this link today and absolutely *had* to blog it! Look at this recipe:
Konditor & Cook's Chocolate Biscuit Cake
I have SO got to make that!
This Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe also looks good and looks nicer than either the Neiman Marcus chocolate chip cookie recipe (which I used to use a lot) or the recipe on the Morsels packet which is what I use now. I like that the Neiman Marcus recipe has oatmeal in it though. I find oatmeal makes the cookies much softer. Heidi over at 101 Cookbooks has this recipe for Neiman Marcus cookies with peppermint bark in them and a link in the comments for how to make peppermint bark.
If you don't know about the Neiman Marcus chocolate chip cookie recipe urban legend junk mail take a look here.
I have been experimenting with a cookie recipe recently that Brad said was one of the nicest cookies he had ever tasted. What I was hoping for was a base for a cookie that one could add all kinds of ingredients too - raisins, dried cranberries, chopped up dried apricot, banana chips etc. I succeeded once but unfortunately, since then I haven't been able to replicate the recipe! I'll have to keep trying ;)
And as for us, we're in chocolate chip cookie heaven, having just baked a batch of cookies from the dough I froze last weekend.

Enjoy!
Hi Ashleigh- souonds liek you guys had a great time in London. Sorry we didn't catch up with you there. I am going to link your blog so that I can read it more often. Now that you have a drivers licence maybe we can meet somewhere in the sommer? All your talk of cookies makes me want to run down and bake some. I am sure the kids would approve.
Yummy. You've got me drooling.
Dear stitching friends,
I want to make my apologies, I send you a link with a lot of freebies I found last night.
It starts with a blank spot, and after scrolling down to the bottom in a hurry I found all the freebie-links.
After surfing several of them, I felt like sharing these freebies with some fellow stitchers…
Later today I went on surfing this site, and I saw the links in the middle that I overlooked at first scrolling down in a hurry…
My apologies if I hurt any ones feelings, if I had noticed these links before, I had never said: “Enjoy,…”.
I’m so sorry this has happened.
Juul
Beste borduur vriendinnen,
Juul.
These are my favorite chocolate chip cookies. I thought you might like them because of the oats!
