Pink Pussy

Today we took a ride to the pet shop to get something very essential for the (mental) health of the kitty (parents). What was this miraculous item I hear you ask?
Nothing other than a pair of kitty nail clippers! Kitty has a huge capacity for play fighting and if you look at my hands and my feet (which I keep out of the duvet at night!) and Brad's hands you can see hundreds of tiny kitty sized scratch marks! Hence the need for kitty to have a manicure.
When we had a cat in Cape Town we clipped his claws using a normal human nail clipper, but it took ages to do and a couple of times I cut too close to the quick. This time we figured we would do it properly and for 4.95 euro we bought a pair of very nice, very sharp kitty nail clippers. We've already done her front paws, I don't think the back ones need clipping at all.
I used a towel wrapped around her and Brad held her while I clipped and it was very fast to do. I used this informative website for kitty clipping pics.
We also got her a feathered kitty toy which has left its pink colouring all over her paws and mouth! So we have a pink, black and white kitty at the moment :)
