Around 5 pm I got an excited call from my friend at Seb's school to say that they changed channels and that his class was on the local area tv channel! We switched over and indeed there they were. Seb sits so nice and still in class - you would never believe it :)
The DH usually finishes work early on Sinterklaasavond but not last night so we had to wait until 6 when he got home for the whole spectacle to begin. First the buzzer went and when I answered it, it was Sinterklaas! He talked to me, then to the kids and then we buzzed him through to come upstairs, but he was intercepted by Brad on the way upstairs and as Sinterklaas was very busy and had to go and deliver gifts to everyone else he gave the big sack of gifts to Brad to bring upstairs. Inside, Brad was met with much jubilation and the presents were torn apart to reveal a Playstation 2 and games, a dance mat, some Little Men and Misses books, some Brio train stuff (engine house and stop and go platform) and a Little People Zoo train, plus some chocolate letters and a Bob the Builder Knights of Can a Lot DVD!
We ordered pizza for supper and I'd made a cake for dessert and then the rest of the evening was spent playing with the Playstation dance mat! Its such fun!
