Redwork and Pneumonia

Why is it that when you go to the dr as soon as you get sick they tell you its a virus and you should go home, but when you leave it as long as you can it's always something terrible?
I went to the dr today after having had flu last week and having a cough that wouldn't go and a chest that bubbled away quite merrily like a jacuzzi and it turns out I have pneumonia! Ugh!
Some antibiotics in hand now and hopefully I will feel more human by the time we get to London next week. Of course, my commitments haven't lessened - I still have kids to look after and get to school and back and today I have my afterschool care kiddie here, but if I take it easy I should be ok.
Now, to more exciting things, this picture is the redwork cushion that Pat from Holland, MI stitched for me! Isn't it beautiful? She also included some lovely skeins of thread, a lovely post-it note block that is stamped to resemble lace, some freebie charts and an Eileen Bennett chart - Wee Bands of Old #1 Scattergood Sampler, plus a lovely letter.
I feel very spoiled! Thank you Pat!
