I received the most beautiful ornament from
Jenna in the US. Wow! I am totally speechless at how beautiful Jenna's hardanger work is. She made the most beautiful Christmas ornament for me from Hermanson Hardanger. Her cutting, doves eyes, wrapped bars and buttonhole edges are exquisite. The back has her name and mine worked in gold thread. Not only was I overwhelmed at how pretty the ornament is, but she didn't stop there - she also sent me the charts for the remainder of the ornaments and the linen to stitch them on! I am absolutely spoiled and very grateful! Thank you Jenna!
Yay! My ornament was received by Christine in Canada so I can share a picture. This is Teresa Wentzler's English Cottage Sampler Ornament stitched with the recommended colours and finished with one of the metal finishing forms. This is the one that put me off ever using glue with one of those forms again!
I had fun stitching this and although the blended threads usually irritate me on TW patterns, this one wasn't so bad :)
