The Mouse in our House

We have a mouse. This is a most unfortunate state of affairs, since the mouse entered the house (apartment) through the hole drilled by the satellite tv guy to bring the cable in from the balcony to the television. And of course, the satellite dish is up somewhat illegally. Which means we can't exactly call the building manager about the mouse for his response will be 'dat kan niet' to our satellite dish.
So, armed with only some muizenkorreltjes (mouse pellets) and a flimsy looking trap my DH and I are going to attempt to roust the smelly varmit from our apartment.
It may be simpler just to get a cat.
