Where have you been, I hear you cry!

Today I went to gym, had an afternoon nap, phoned my mom and two friends, sat in the sandpit with the kids enjoying the warm weather and then the day was over! Tomorrow piano lessons, Saturday I have a bike ride planned, Sunday swimming with the kids ... so you can see where the time has gone.
I'm working on the Hillside Samplings Strawberry Fields bag and my Chatelaine model. I received some things in the post but I've not had a chance to update any pics or anything. I finished my needleroll for the SBBB Needleroll exchange and I'll be posting it off tomorrow.
Other news:
Gary and his wife had a baby boy - Mazeltov to them! - and I need to post them their gift. It won't arrive in time for the bris, but should arrive shortly afterward.
Seb is riding his bike on his own to school every day now and is very (justifiably!) proud of himself! He also has a new friend in his class who comes from Cape Town, South Africa! How's that for coincidence? I met his mom today and she seemed very nice.
My brother is now working at Selfridges in London in a full time job Monday - Friday. He has another job in a university kitchen for Saturdays and Sundays so he seems to be settling in. I wonder if he gets a staff discount at Selfridges?
My mom got a new job! So she will be leaving the hotel where she works and moving into Harare to live with my aunt when she takes up the new job. It has all kinds of wonderful perks like holiday time, a salary!, sick leave, medical cover etc. She should be able to come visit us next year. She's also trying to stop smoking which I thought would never happen!
