Emie Bishop Linen Band WIP

Here's a WIP pic of the Emie Bishop Linen Band Sampler stitched with Vikki Clayton silks. After unpicking it twice and ending up starting from the other end of the band because I didn't like the ecru silk on the white linen, (I was sent white instead of ivory), I finally got a decent amount stitched.
I had to really fiddle around with the photo to get it to look anything like the real thing - bad light and a white background don't go well together, but I think you can get the general picture! I'll be working on this very slowly as I have literally loads and loads of work to do with regard to the model stitching.
Hi Ashleigh:
My name's Wilma (I am a Canadian and parent's of Dutch descent). I came to your site out of curiousity. I have enjoyed looking at it. And think its awesome.
I too love cross stitching. My favourite aunt "tante" in Holland introduced me to cross stitching when I was 12 (don't tell anyone but I'm 49 now) - which means lots of cross stitching.
Just wanted to say hello.
Wilma Cherney (Lubbert)
P.S. - My email still has my maiden name; got married in May and still trying to sort out the paperwork and name changes. Take care.
