I love how this came out! The little house is the front and the saying is on the back. Lois from Elegant Stitch is the designer.
Isn' t it darling?? I love the ribbon and the little hearts. The ribbon is a beautiful colour too and I like how the ruching works. I had never ruched with a wide ribbon like this one (1/2 inch) and I find the ruffles very pretty indeed.
The background it is resting on is a handkerchief that belonged to my grandmother. Her handkerchiefs are the only thing I have of hers and whenever I open the glove box they're kept in I can smell the scent of her home. Its very evocative.
I like ur pinkeep and how u ruched the ribbon to get the ruffled effect. Cud u share with me as to how u ruched the ribbon?
