Stitching Time ..

I am almost done with the Chatelaine Sampler model! I have the words 'Friendship' and 'That to complete, then initials M, R and B and the beads to sew on and its done! Yay! I can see the end in sight.

Martina is sending me another model in the post in a few days (the Midi Mystery) and I have the other model which is still waiting for the second iteration to be completed. Hopefully this month that will happen and then I can concentrate on some of my other pieces!

I am pining away for Eileen Bennett's Band of Many Colours. I love the piece and I really want to keep up with the With My Needle and Pen group SAL but I daren't get into that while I have model that need stitching. Other things I'm desperate to finish are the Heart Sampler (which isn't too bad as its up to date) and the Judy Dixon Mixed Stitch Sampler. Bunnies in the Garden is still in a state of almost completion - I just have the pincushion to attach. I really should do it so I can have a HD.

I got my Blue Carnations set from Victoria Sampler - it arrived very quickly! Literally a week after I ordered! Its very pretty, and I'm looking forward to stitching up the name tag.

The other news is that I signed up for two CA Wells classes in London in November (19 - 20) so that's going to be fun! I just need somewhere to stay - hotels running at 60 a night it might be an idea to share with someone ... I'll see how it goes. I can get an easyjet flight over for about 70 euros so that part's not difficult.
