Yikes. I haven't answered a SBQ for almost a month ...
This week's question was :
Are there any types of designs that you won�t stitch?
Well, I probably would never go for one of those huge painting style Mystic Stitch or Heaven and Earth Designs pieces. I hate Winnie the Pooh and Disney but I've stitched them for other people and on round robins and its been ok. I find some designs very simplistic, but some of them I really like as they seem to capture something that makes them special. I find it hard to stitch designs that have lots of changes of colour for no particular good reason.
I think as I grow more with my stitching I'm becoming less tolerant of stitching things that I don't like. My time is more precious to me now.
Otherwise, I guess it just has to appeal and I'll stitch it!
