Do you finish all your finished pieces? (pillow, frame, etc,) If so,
how do you finish the pieces? If not what do you do with them?
Most of my pieces are finished as ornaments, standups and such. I have to admit I have loads sitting in drawers waiting for something to happen to them *blush* Framing is so expensive here that I worry about framing something and then having my tastes change and having outlaid so much money on frames. Some things are framed and I do still like them, but (as in the case of the pictures I did for the kids) some have a limited life span. I really like finishing small things in unusual ways - like needlecases etc. It seems to give the project more life.
Today's second question is:
What is your opinion of Internet "freebies?"
Love them! I wish more people would take advantage of the freebies out there instead of claiming there is 'nothing to stitch' and making illegal copies of designs. Favourites are Drawn Thread, With My Needle and Victoria Sampler.
