I got tagged by Julie to answer these questions. I need to pick five answer them and send to three other people. I've not decided who to send to yet ... most of the people I know will just delete as spam, so I might hold off on that bit :)

My answers are below.

If I could be a scientist . . .
If I could be a farmer . . .
If I could be a musician . . .
If I could be a doctor . . .
If I could be a painter . . .
If I could be a gardener . . .
If I could be a missionary . . .
If I could be a chef . . .
If I could be an architect . . .
If I could be a linguist . . .
If I could be a psychologist . . .
If I could be a librarian . . .
If I could be an athlete . . .
If I could be a lawyer . . .
If I could be an inn-keeper . . .
If I could be a professor . . .
If I could be a writer . . .
If I could be a llama-rider . . .
If I could be a bonnie pirate . . .
If I could be an astronaut . . .
If I could be a world famous blogger . . .
If I could be a justice on any one court in the world . . .
If I could be married to any current famous political figure ...
If I could be a farmer ... I'd run a biodynamic farm with a children's petting farm where the kids could come in and get all dirty and really be up close and personal with the animals. I'd sell my produce in my farm stall and at farmers markets. I'd have a bed and breakfast on the farm that was a place to host stitching retreats (and where I could show off my stitched work on all the walls). I would hope I wouldn't mind the immense amount of work that would come with the job ...

If I could be a linguist ... I'd research more into the connections that are made in the brain for children who are multi-lingual. I'd educate people more on the fact that being in a country with a language other than your own doesn't mean you must abandon your mother-tongue. I'd make it simpler for parents to explain to others what multi-lingualism means. I would study the language centres of the brain in children who are multi-lingual using functional MRI scanning to see the different connections. I would make more provision for multi-lingualism in schools.

If I could be a writer ... I'd write about my childhood in Africa. I'd write about my experiences with an alcoholic parent for Al-Anon. I'd write vampire genre fiction set in Amsterdam ;) I'd hope to be well-read and respected but I'd probably end up being a pulp fiction author.

If I could be married to any famous political figure ... it would have to be Bill Clinton! You have to like a man who can have so strong willed a wife. Maybe he needs to give my DH lessons??? (not in his misdemeanours, but in his having a strong willed wife!!)

If I could be a musician ... I'd be a piano teacher and I'd try to help children discover the gift of music.
