Turkey Time

We are having turkey for dinner today. Yes, I know Christmas was a while back and so was Easter and Thanksgiving is a long way off ;) But I bought this (very) deep frozen turkey from Lidl in December expecting to make it for Christmas lunch, and then we had no table to eat at so we just kept it.
Since then I've been putting it off as turkey is not my favourite food. But today is the day for the turkey to meet its version of the fiery pit and we're expected to eat at 8 this evening. If there are no blog entries from me in the next week it means I have succumbed to salmonella! (It only cost E9.99)
