Spring Saturday

Today was a fantastic day here in Holland. In fact, yesterday was too. Yesterday I bought a chocolate croissant and a smoothie and when I collected Joe on the bike rode down to a quiet spot on the canal nearby and we sat and ate and drank together. It was really cute - a date with my littlest baby. He had fun watching upside down ducks too.

Today Brad and I rode (with the kids on the back of our bikes) into the Amsterdamse Bos and through to the Goat Farm. It was far, but really fun! The ride was about 10 km altogether and despite sore bums, we had a good time. The Goat Farm is an organic farm and they sell their own produce in their tea room. Brad loved his sausage roll and they make a great cup of coffee and the we all enjoyed our ice creams (made with organic goats milk) In fact, there was nothing bad about the experience at all. The Amsterdamse Bos was somewhere that we didn't really visit before we had bikes. This summer we will spend a lot more time there.
