Snow Days ...

I ordered the tapas for Sunday from the shop nearby. Debated going into the hairdresser to have a haircut but I'm scared. I've not had a haircut for almost 3 years now because of this irrational fear of Dutch hairdressers! My hair is waist length and it REALLY needs cutting but I'm terrified that they'll do something weird to it because of a language barrier issue.
My Muslim friend has got over herself *yay* and invited me to lunch today so we're going to her house after school. We used to meet at least once a week and have lunch so the kids could play but then after Theo van Gogh was murdered the Islamic community became very close and she sort of turned inward to her own community - not that I blame her, but it was weird for me. Today was the first time she has invited me over since about October and I've been asking her to come over loads of times since then but she has always refused. I'll take my knitting with me :)
I'm going to try insert some pics in my blog today. Lets see how it goes.
